Payment Notes, Customer Notes, and Invoice Notes

There are different types of note sections in the Wylie System. Below is a list of the different types of notes and where they will be displayed:

 

  1. Customer Note (Register Note Box):
    Use the ‘Note’ box in the register to add a note to the customer’s profile. This note appears:
    • In the ‘Notes’ column of the customer table
    • On the customer’s profile
    • When completing a sale

      You can also edit this note by:
      • Clicking the pencil icon next to the customer’s name in their profile
      • Using the edit pencil in the customer table

  3. Notes Tab:
    This is a separate section in the customer profile meant for additional notes, distinct from the register note.

  4. Invoice Notes:
    You can also add notes directly to an invoice (if the feature is enabled). These appear:
    • During checkout 
    • In the Invoice Table, once the note is added.
